for Fun Craps At The Online Casino Guide. Craps is one of the most
exciting AND confusing games in any casino, whether virtual or "brick and
mortar". In craps, your money is riding on the outcome of a pair of dice. If you're
playing in the real world, you can either throw the dice (be the shooter) or simply bet
with (or against) someone who is throwing the dice. In online craps, the
dice are thrown by the computer (casino) and you simply place bets.
Here's how craps
works: The shooter rolls the dice. If his/her first throw is a 7 or 11, the
shooter wins! If the shooter's first roll is a 2, 3 or 12, the shooter loses. If the
shooter rolls anything else on the first roll, that value becomes his/her point value.
The shooter must then continue rolling until either the point roll is made (wins) or
a 7 is rolled (loses). Your job is to bet either with or against the shooter. You do
this by placing your bet in the appropriate spot on craps table. For example if you feel
that the shooter will make his point, you place your bet on the "pass line".
Your bet remains their until the shoot has been resolved.

| The Pass Bet |
This is a bet that the shooter will throw a 7 or 11 on the
first roll OR will make his point value on a subsequent roll. This bet
loses if a 2,3 or 12 is thrown on the first roll. Casino advantage: 1.4% |
| The Don't Pass Bet |
This is the opposite of the pass bet. This bet is placed
against the
shooter and wins if craps (2,3 or 12) is thrown on the come out roll
or if the shooter fails to make the point. If a 12 is thrown, the bet ties. Casino
advantage: 1.4% |
| The Come Bet |
This is a bet that the shooter will throw a 7 or 11 on the
next roll or,
alternatively, that the shooter will roll the next rolled number again
BEFORE rolling a seven. |
| The Don't Come Bet |
Again, this bet is similar to the don't pass bet, but need
not be made
on the come out roll. |
| Odds Bet |
This is an additional bet made on a pass, don't pass, come
or don't
come bet that has already been placed. Odds bets can only after the
point has been established. The advantage of an odds bet is that it is
paid out at the correct odds. |
| Win Bet |
This bet can be made on the following numbers: 4,5,6,8,9,10.
It is a
bet that the relevant number will be thrown BEFORE a seven. |
| Lose Bet |
This bet can be made on the following numbers: 4,5,6,8,9,10.
It is a
bet that a seven will be thrown BEFORE the relevant number. |
| Field Bet |
This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays even
money if a
3,4,9,10 or 11 is thrown and 2-1 if a 2 or 12 is thrown. |
| Hardway Bet |
This bet can be made on 4,6,8 or 10. It is a bet that the
relevant number
will be thrown in its double form BEFORE a seven AND before that
number is thrown in any other combination. The payouts are 7 to 1, 9 to 1,
9 to 1, and 7 to 1, respectively. |
| Any Seven |
This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays 4 to
1 if a seven is
rolled on the next throw. |
| Any Craps |
This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays 7 to
1 if a 2, 3 or 12
is rolled on the next throw. |
| Craps Two |
This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays 30
to 1 if a 2 is rolled
on the next throw. |
| Craps Three |
This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays 15
to 1 if a 3 is rolled
on the next throw. |
| Craps Twelve |
This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays 30
to 1 if a 12 is rolled
on the next throw. |
| Eleven |
This is a bet on the outcome of the next throw. It pays 15
to 1 if an 11 is rolled

| Horn |
This is a single roll bet on any craps (2,3 or 12) and 11.
